Authorities have already arrested Adrian Dawson of Lynchburg and charged him with Stone's killing.

Public education will "take a hit" under Governor Mark Warner's plan to trim state spending... and that has many Virginia educators concerned.

Warner has asked all state agencies for further cuts in order to cover the one and a half billion dollar budget shortfall.
Education groups say public education should be exempt from the latest round of penny pinching.

Teachers had been promised a pay raise which recently fell victim to the state's budget problems.

All terrain vehicles, known as ATV's, have been on the market for years.
As injuries and deaths rose in the 1980's, the ATV industry was forced
to stop making the three wheelers....and replaced them with four
wheelers.

A Consumer Federation of American report recommends that no child under
16 should be allowed to operate an ATV.
That states require licensing and training.
And that manufacturers give refunds for three wheel ATV's and adult-size
ATV's purchased for use by chldren under 16.
As the safety findings were announced..there was more bad
news.Forty-five, thousand Artic Cat ATVs were recalled for a a
mechanical problem - one that could lead to serious accidents.
But for some danger is part of the appeal.

The committee wants to know if Stewart was using inside information.
The House panel requested some of Stewart's emails, records from her business manager and additional information on her phone numbers.
Stewart has said she had a pre-arranged agreement with her broker to sell the stock if it hit 60 dollars a share.

In fact more than half of the teens surveyed said they thought they could buy marijuana within one or two hours.
About one in four teens- or 27 percent surveyed said they personally witnessed the sale of illegal drugs at school.
About one in ten- or 8 percent believe at least one teacher in their school uses illegal drugs.
There are some positive statistics though- 63 percent of teenager between 12 and 17 years old say they attend drug free schools.
