Jennifer Short disappeared August 15th- That's when authorities found her parents Michael and Mary Short dead in their Oak Level home. (( Stephen Hughes and his coach Steven Magenbauer share the same first name and the same challenge of making the Titans a respectable team in the school's inaugural season. But the tumor is unique and treatable with daily medication, and doctors say it is fine for him to play. Five days before the start of practice this month they collectively made one more trip to Duke to get final clearance for this season. He also was a nasty linebacker. But on this routine hit in the playoffs against Dan River just before halftime he suffered temporary paralysis and never played football again.)) ((STEVE MAGENBAUER:))
