American Airlines is following suit- putting new restrictions on tickets.
Basically if you don't use it.. you lose it-
If you miss your flight on a non-refundable ticket- it's worthless.
American says customers will have to change their itinerary "on... or before" the day they are supposed to fly.
It'll also cost an extra 100 dollars for customers who want to fly standby for another flight- and it must be on the day they're supposed to travel.
U-S Airways put those restrictions in place earlier this week.

Police say detectives were following a "Toyota 4-Runner" based on information that illegal drugs were being carried in the vehicle.
The driver took off when he realized he was being followed... the vehicle jumped the median and headed the wrong way on Orange Avenue.
At least one other driver had to take evasive action and drive onto the curb to avoid the vehicle, but there were no collisions or injuries.
Police finally stopped the car at 3rd and Madison and arrested the driver, 36-year old Leonardo Demarcus Reed of Roanoke.
He's charged with "possesion with intent to distribute heroin", felony eluding police and driving after being declared a habitual offender.
