Leon Whitmer and his neighbors live on Trinkle Avenue...
This summer-- signs went up along Williamson Road making it illegal to turn left onto their street between nine at night and three in the morning.
The city is hoping to discourage folks from cruising Williamson Road-- by making it harder to find a place to turn around.
But Whitmer and his neighbors say NOT being able to turn into their neighborhood just isn't fair.

Police are searching for a missing woman from Martinsville.
62-year old Maxine Hairston was visiting her granddaughter in Charlotte, North Carolina over the Labor Day weekend when she disappeared.
She was last seen in Charlotte Saturday evening.
The woman does not have a car.
Police say Hairston is healthy. She has no medical conditions and is not taking any medications.

A Campbell County woman could spend up to 53 years in prison for the February shooting death of her husband.

It took the jury less than three hours today to determine Elizabeth Farinacci shot her husband Frank and left him to die in their garage.
The 48-year old showed no reaction to the verdict.

Last week, she'd testified in her own defense saying she'd been threatened into confessing to the crime and was afraid for her own life.
But Friday, Farinacci cried on the stand saying she wasn't capable of hurting her husband.
The four day trial wrapped up today with a conviction on first degree murder and firearms charges.
Sentencing is scheduled for November 27th.
Farinacci's lawyer says it's likely she'll appeal.

Five other city locations are being considered as possible sites for additional wells.

Sixty-two-year-old Maxine Hariston was spotted late tonight walking in a field near Charlotte.
A passerby picked up Hariston and drove her to a nearby church

Noel had arthroscopic surgery on knee this morning to evaluate what was causing the discomfort he had been experiencing the past three weeks.
Trainer Mike Goforth says it went better than expected.
Orthopedic surgeon Marc Siegel not only found no serious damage, but they also determined that part of his Anterior cruciate ligament is still in tact.
Dr. Siegel trimmed some cartilage Noel will begin his rehab tomorrow morning at seven. Noel will stay off of the knee as much as possible for the next four days
He is still probable for Marshall.
