Investigators are looking for several suspects in the apparent shooting death of a young Halifax County woman.
The body of 24-year old Shelly Marie Jackson was found outside a South Boston suburb.

The 24-year old had been missing since Monday night.
Authorities say they had to head south on Tuesday before returning to their own backyard to find the crime scene.

He says he suspects she was shot.

There are several suspects in the case.
One, Kenneth Hodges, was taken into custody on an unrelated matter.
Hodges lives not far from the crime scene.
And Oakes says that's not the only fact that could tie him to Jackson's murder.

officials be killed in a terrorist attack.
The change would require an amendment to the Constitution.

The Henry County man and his wife were found shot to death in their Oak Level home last month.
Their nine-year old daughter was also taken from the house and remains missing.
Yesterday morning-- officials removed Short's body from Henry Memorial Park to gather additional forensic evidence.
His body was then taken to the medical examiners office in Roanoke.
Also -- helicopters searched the Northern area of Henry County and the southern tip of Franklin County... again looking for additional evidence.

Police say Daryll Wayne Waller threatened McCoy and a woman who was living inside McCoy's house.
