Authorities are investigating an early morning armed robbery at a Henry County bank.
Officials say a teller at Patrick Henry National Bank in Collinsville was opening the front door around 6:30 when a man approached with a handgun.
He forced the teller into the bank, demanded money and fled with the cash -- running toward King's Mountain Road.
The suspect is described as a thin male.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans, orange mask and black backpack.

Meanwhile, the Botetourt County Sheriff's Department credited a quick response for the arrest of three robbery suspects this morning.
Shortly before one, two armed men in masks robbed the Comfort Inn located near Interstate 81.
Deputies encountered two men who matched the descriptions of the suspects minutes later.
Authorites arrested 27 year old Sterlin G. Dawson, the second, and 25 year old James Theodore Ramsey. Both have been charged with armed robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Authorities say Angela Laverne Perdue was driving the car at the time of the arrest. She was also charged with armed robbery. All three are from Roanoke.
Deputies say they found a pellet gun, two masks and an undisclosed amount of money in the suspects' car.

Authorities say the investigation could take weeks, because police have to find dental records or fingerprints of the missing men.
The body was found in May on the Poages Mill Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Meanwhile, police are looking into whether the body may be that of Howard Woolwine, a man who disappeared from a Martinsville adult-care facility in 1998, but they add Woolwine is just one of more than a dozen men who look similar to the artist's rendering.
