For the first time in six weeks, there's been a suicide bombing in Israel.

Police and T-V reports say a bomber blew himself up at a bus stop in Northern Israel today, injuring at least three other people.
There's been no immediate claim of responsibility.
But an official in Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's office is blaming Palestinian terrorists.

Nazi collaborator Maurice (pa-PAWN) Papon emerged from prison today.
The 92-year-old had been serving a 10-year prison sentence since 1999, for signing orders that sent hundreds of Jews to death camps.
His attorneys pushed for his early release because of his age and poor health.
(pa- PAWN) Papon is the highest-ranking former French official sentenced for working with the Nazis.

Last night, the Montgomery County school board decided the Blue Demon name does not violate its mascot policy.
But, those against the name say the issue is far from over.

State workers are meeting with Governor Warner at this hour.
