The women's Institute for Leadership at Mary Baldwin College - it's just one program that could be cut as a result of state budget woes
The Virginia Space Grant Consortium is another.
Those are just some of the proposals coming from the State Council of Higher Education-
It's done with its proposed budget cuts of 7, 11 and 15 percent for the governor.
Governor Warner wants all state agencies to present him with three seperate budget plans tomorrow.
Higher cuts are proposed for other programs, including one that encourages minority students to pursue doctoral degrees and then teach in Virginia schools.
Meanwhile, State employees got some bad news straight from the Governor.

Since June, the county's been pumping water that leaks out of the dam at Spring Hollow reservoir back into the lake. Two pumps collect about one day's worth of water every two weeks. The County's also digging several test wells in between the dam and treatment facility. IF significant water is found, Utility Director Gary Robertson says he hopes it can be pumped into the treatment facility, treated, and then sent directly to customers. Together, Roanoke County and City pull 10 to 11 million gallons of water a day from the reservoir.
