Two years ago this weekend, a man walked into a gay bar in downtown Roanoke and shot seven people.
Four of the victims were critically injured, Danny Overstreet was killed.
Tonight Overstreet's family gathered at the Backstreet Cafe for a memorial service.

After the gunfire stopped, 43 year old Danny Overstreet was dead.
His friends hope the second anniversary will renew the community's efforts to stop the hate.

Ashley Plantation's Chip Sullivan has played his way into the PGA Tour's Michelob Championship at Kingsmill.
This afternoon at the Kiskiack (KISS-KEY-ACK) Course in Williamsburg, Chip earned one of two spots in the PGA event by finishing second in a Mid-Atlantic qualifier.
He shot a blistering five under par on the final five holes to force a playoff.
Then on the fifth hole of the playoff he won with a birdie.
The Michelob Championship runs from October 3rd - the 6th.
