Law officers hope the security camera videotape will help them find the two.
It shows Gorman striking the girl, who is believed to be about four-years-old, in the back seat of a sport utility vehicle- the video was taken outside a store in Mishawaka, Indiana.
The suspect's sister, who was also seen on the videotape, is in custody. She was detained because she allegedly gave deceptive answers to police. Authorities say they have been in contact with Gorman's family, but they are not being cooperative.

In May, police in Fort Worth, Texas, issued a warrant for Gorman's arrest after she failed to appear to face theft charges.
Records show she and another woman were arrested at a Kohls department store.
It was at another Kohls in Indiana that last week's beating episode took place.

Relatives of the Short Family were in Henry County Circuit Court, they said, to prepare for Jennifer's return home. And a judge agreed to appoint Ruby Young to serve as the young girl's guardian.
The nine year old disappeared five weeks ago, when her parents were murdered in their Oak Level home.
Investigators are still looking for a man who harassed Mary Short about ten years ago when she worked at the Pluma plant. And the sheriffs department has released additional photos of Short from that period.

Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please!

Thank you, see you in a little while.
Friday morning Roddy took time off The Price is Right and checked into this Los Angeles hospital. Doctors are going back in to remove cancer in his colon, a small piece missed when they first examined Roddy last year.

(SOT, ROD RODDY/ANNOUNCER)

When they got to this part of the colon over here, they found a tumor the size of an orange.
In a similar procedure to this one, the same doctor removed 13 cancerous nodes. Roddys stage 3 cancer had spread beyond his colon.

(CHRIS LAWRENCE/CBS NEWS)

Roddy says it never would have gotten this far if he hadnt avoided a simple procedure.

(SOT, RODDY)

Why didnt I do it? I didnt do it for the same reason everyone else doesnt do it.
Nothing hurt. So no urgency. But a colonoscopy would have taken less than an hour and saved him months in the hospital. In the procedure, the doctor inserts a tube into the sedated patients colon, with a camera to detect cancerous nodes. Roddy says it could save some of the 50,000 Americans who die each year from colon cancer. But while its quick and painless, a colonoscopy is also an inconvenience.

(SOT, RODDY)

But believe me its an inconvenience I wish I had taken. Because had I done that I would have saved myself the hospital visits, the chemotherapy, all the doctors appointments. My life has become a medical appointment.
