The body was found this morning in the Greenbrier State Forest.

A motorist discovered the partially decomposed body over a bank in an area where trash is frequently dumped illegally.
The body has been sent to the state medical examiner's office in South Charleston.

They're designed to show the human side of Jennifer in hopes someone who may have information will decide to come forward.

Investigators want to remind the public you can remain anonymous if you have any direction knowledge of this case.
As for the body found in West Virginia, an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow at 8:30 A-M.

Some skeletal remains found yesterday in North Carolina, about 35 minutes away from the Short family's home, are most likely NOT Jennifer's.
Investigators say preliminary microscopic tests revealed that Jennifer's hair did NOT match hair found at that scene.
But as Marya Jones reports, there is still one more step before they can rule the lead out completely.

On top of flooding more than 140- thousand customers are without power. But, despite heavy winds, rain and evacuation orders some residents decided to stay put. In order to stay on top of rising water-- one woman waited out the storm on a shrimp boat that was tied down in a canal.

And as it turns out a shrimp boat was a profitable place to be. As heavy rains moved inland, fishermen moved off- shore into coastal bayous. This morning canals were busy as fishermen unloaded net after net of fish and shrimp.

Earlier this week strikes were launched on two other sites.
The tactic is not necessarily to attack the site the anti aircraft fire comes from- but to target control points of the Iraqi air defense.

Governor Warner is cancelling a trade mission to Asia scheduled for November.
The governor says he'll need to spend that time dealing with the state's finances and preparing budget amendments.

State budget cuts have also left many higher education institutions struggling to find ways to get around it.
One example is Virginia Tech's Math department, which says another round of cuts will force it to cut classes.

The department has already eliminated 18-teaching positions, 12-graduate assistant positions and all of its honors courses...in response to the state's last round of cuts.

He says he may end up combining some of them to prevent others from being cut.
Governor Warner ordered all state agency heads to plan to reduce their budgets by five to fifteen percent.

The man accused of killing a Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Deputy will be tried IN Pittsylvania County.

Roy Inge Junior is charged with capital murder in the May 17th shooting death of Deputy Frankie Betterton.
At a hearing this morning, a judge denied the defense motion for a change of venue.
The defense argued it would be impossible to find an impartial jury in Pittsylvania County.
Judge William Alexander held off ruling on whether Inge is competent to stand trial.
The trial is set to start November 4th.

The boat then towed the whale to the coast- where workers cut the chain- all while keeping the whale hydrated.

Wildlife experts say whales are attracted to the movement of objects such as cords and chains- Plans are underway to add safety features to boats to protect whales

Just this week Hamlar's eye doctor strengthened his contact lens prescription because of his excessive work on the computer. ((:))
Everything else would mean football, which is all he has time for. He started his first four games as a redshirt freshman last season, but injuries relegated him to a back up role. ((JIM GROBE/WAKE FOREST HEAD COACH:))
Hamlar played much of last season with a broken right hand. He had surgery three months ago, but re-injured it against East Carolina September seventh. ((:)) Hamlar is getting 10 plays a game at outside linebacker and playing some special teams.)) ((:)) ((:)) ((:))
