A distraught state trooper kills himself a day after a bank robbery that left five people dead in Nebraska.
Authorities say Trooper Mark Zach had stopped one of the suspects just the week before, for carrying a concealed weapon...but because he failed to enter the gun's serial number correctly, the computer indicated the gun was not stolen.

Another person in Virginia has died apparently from the West Nile virus. The 83 year old woman from Falls Church would be the second human to die from the disease this year in the state.

Meanwhile, scientists are trying to figure out if the virus can be transferred through breast milk.
This after they discovered traces of West Nile in the milk of new mother battling the infection.
The Centers for Disease Control does suggest that nursing mothers in heavily mosquito infested areas contact their doctors if they develop a fever.
But Health officials are quick to caution that the presence of the virus in the breast milk is not proof it can be transmitted to an infant.
