Since then, authorities have concluded the bones appear to be those of a nine year old, white female with shoulder length brown hair... leading many to believe the remains are those of the missing nine year old.

Police feared the worst when Dominique Womack was seen getting into a car near her school this afternoon.

in a field off Timber Ridge Road in Glade Hill.
It took an additional set of dental records to positively identify the remains as those of the 37-year old mother of four.
Sheriff Quint Overton says- -for now- -it's a "suspicious death," one that's still under investigation.

It was a busy day at the Glenvar- area schools in Roanoke County.
First a bomb threat forced the evacuation of the elementary, middle and high schools.
No bomb was found.
Then, in a separate incident, an electrical problem caused a burning smell to permeate the middle school building.
All students returned to their respective schools once the buildings were deemed safe.

State police say Bessie Yuille (yool) was crossing the tracks on Billy Lane just south of Rustburg and apparently never saw the train bearing down on her.
The northbound Norfolk Southern locomotive was traveling about 35 miles per hour when it struck Yuille's car broadside, pushing it 150 yards down the track.
Yuille was killed instantly.. her passenger, 54-year-old Louise Blair, suffered minor injuries.

Attorney General Jerry Kilgore today said more than 12 million dollars in fraudulent Medicaid payments was recovered last year.
It's the most ever uncovered by the 20-year-old Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

The rest will go to the federal government.
Officials estimate that Medicaid fraud may be costing Virginia taxpayers as much as three-hundred million dollars a year.
