New information suggests the remains found in Rockingham County North Carolina are those of Jennifer Short, but investigators are still not ready to say for sure.
Dental analysis reveals the remains are those of a nine year old white female.

A shooting in Roanoke sent one man to the hospital.
Police are still looking for suspects.

Police say it happened around 8:30 last night after an assault at the Frontier Apartment Complex on Plantation Road.
Officers say a group of men was walking away from the apartments when another group drove by in a car.
Someone fired one shot from inside the vehicle.
The bullet hit 19-year old Robert Hopson of Roanoke in the thigh.
He was taken to Roanoke Memorial hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A police spokesperson says officers aren't yet sure what set off the incident but they are looking for suspects.

In California, two people are dead after a man tried to kill the driver of a Greyhound bus, sending the bus crashing into a field.

Authorities say a passenger slashed the throat of the bus driver as he traveled down a freeway last night.
The driver survived the attack, but the bus went out of control and rolled over while he tried to defend himself.
The driver is in critical condition this morning.
Around 50 other people were injured, some seriously.
But the incident rattled the nerves of everyone on board the bus.

The trial of accused 9-11 accomplice Zacarias Moussaoui is now postponed until June 30th.
Moussaoui was supposed to stand trial beginning January sixth on charges he plotted with the hijackers.
This is the THIRD trial date for Moussaoui.
He was originally supposed to go on trial yesterday in federal court in Alexandria.
The trial was pushed back to give him more time to prepare his case.
He could face the death penalty.

As head football coach and athletic director he was all powerful - feared and often jeered by the administration in Burress Hall, but simply adored by his players. Back then the Stallions and not the Untouchables ran roughshod on the opposition and Bruce Smith and Mike Johnson were the ringleaders on defense. Under his administration, lights went up at Lane Stadium, the East side expansion was completed and the Hokies proved they could win in the Carrier Dome. It's tough for many to swallow - but the truth is Dooley helped set the table for the success that you see in Blacksburg today. ((BILL DOOLEY:)) Dooley, who has been inducted into 7 different hall of fames, was in Winston-Salem this past weekend celebrating the 10th anniversary of his last bowl team the 1992 Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Now 68 years old, Dooley is on the mend after heart surgery ((BILL DOOLEY:))
He now lives with his two youngest sons and wife Marie in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. ((BILL DOOLEY:)) Dooley says he has lots of fond memories from his days at Tech and only wishes he could have gotten the Hokies into conference back then. Roanoke police have charged two teenagers with making a bomb threat at Patrick Henry High School.
The campus was evacuated around lunchtime yesterday in response to the threat. No bomb was found. Two boys, ages 15 and 16, were charged and taken to the Coyner Springs detention center.
