As soon as the state lab asked for additional remains, authorities called the Governor's Office and got a Virginia State Police helicopter in the air.

A little more than an hour ago- -the chopper touched down in Roanoke, carrying those remains. They were taken directly to the state lab which is barely a mile from the airport. We don't know whether forensic experts will be working on the case this evening.

Charles Yopp was sentenced today on charges involving his three and six year old daughters. At an earlier hearing, Yopp admitted a door was bolted to the bottom half of a bunk bed-- trapping his three year old daughter in what prosecutors called a cage. Authorities say the family's house was also unsanitary. Both girls remain in the custody of other family members.

A hepatitis scare in Virginia Beach is having some far-reaching effects across the state.
Last month a food handler at the Lone Star Steakhouse was diagnosed with Hepatitis A.. it's the same restaurant where dozens of rescue squad volunteers ate while they were in town for a convention.

A Kentucky man is under arrest tonight... after police say he led them on a 10-mile chase.
The chase started in Blacksburg... when police say they spotted a stolen car and followed it as it headed west onto 460.
The chase ended when the car's engine failed near Pembroke.
The driver, 24-year-old Billy Gibson, was arrested and charged with grand larceny and eluding police.
