There is a happy ending to the story of another missing nine-year-old girl.. this one in Lynchburg.
Police feared the worst when Dominique Womack was seen getting into a car near her school yesterday afternoon.

Attorney General John Ashcroft is pledging a new effort by the Justice Department to crack down on those who victimize children.
He says the agency wants to ensure a more rapid response, because seconds count in saving the life of a child.

NASA officials say they didn't want to be forced to evacuate mission control in Houston during the STS-112's mission, should Lili hit the Gulf Coast. This is the first time a hurricane threat to Texas - Not Florida - has delayed a launch. The mission to deliver another girder to the international space station is already six weeks late because of cracked plumbing. The launch is now scheduled for take off on Monday.

He's charged with securities, wire, and mail fraud-- as well as money laundering and conspiring to inflate Enron's profits.
Fastow was a central figure in the Enron scandal last December when the company declared bankruptcy.
He's said to have hid a billion dollars in debt from shareholders and federal regulators.

Douglas Faneuil (FAN'-yool) pleaded guilty today to a misdemeanor charge that he was paid off to keep secret what he knew about inside information allegedly given to Stewart about ImClone Systems.
Faneuil has also agreed to testify about what he knows regarding Stewart's sale of nearly four thousand Imclone shares last year, just before the stock price plummeted.
Meanwhile, Stewart has denied any wrongdoing and no charges have been brought against her.

The Brewers had the National League's worst record at 56 and 106, finishing 41 games behind the Central Division- winning St. Louis Cardinals. Milwaukee went 53 and 94 under Royster - who became interim manager when Davey (LOHPS) Lopes was fired, following a 3 and 12 start.
