Oakland got homers inside and outside the park to lead off the game and went on to a 6-to-3 win over Minnesota. The A's

take a two-games-to-one lead in the American League Division Series.
Ray Durham led off the game by skipping a hit past centerfielder Tori Hunter and circling the bases for an inside-the-park home run.
[SUPER=35-Oakland/6/Minnesota/3;]Stunned Twins starter Rick Reed then gave up a over-the-fence homer to right to Scott

Hatteberg. Despite several A's miscues, like this drop on a routine pop up and pitcher barry Zito's losing the grip on the pitch, A's still win it by 3.

[GO TO PINNACLE ON CHIP SULLIVAN] Yesterday, he fired a 67 to put himself in contention and today he followed it up with a 69 with five birdies and three bogeys. After two rounds he has 20 pars, 10 birdies, and just 5 bogeys. He will easily make the cut and is in position for a big payday.

In addition to the improvements in goal scoring, the Express has shown signs of toughness as well. Rookie left wing David Silverstone is only 5 foot 10 and 200 pounds, but he packs a potent punch. His fighting philosophy is simple.
