Local authorities describe Bowman as a "witness" in the disappearance of Jennifer Short and the murders of her parents. Bowman-- who's from North Carolina-- was last seen one day after the Shorts were discovered dead in their home August 15th. Local authorities hope to talk with Bowman because several maps were discovered in his mobile home including one marked to show the location of the Shorts' home. Canadian authorities say they're been doing what they can to assist with the investigation.
