In one recent case, Canadian courts refused to extradite two Canadian citizens who were accused of capital murder in Washington, DCTERMS.
In that case, Drumbl says the court cited international law, and ruled it was not in keeping with the Canadian constitution to send individuals to the U.S. to face the death penalty.

A Patrick County high school student is behind bars tonight for making a bomb threat at school today.
School officials say a note was found in a boys restroom just before noon.
The building was evacuated and Patrick County sheriff's deputies searched the premises with bomb-sniffing dogs. Nothing was found.
Police questioned students who were near the bathroom when the note was found. A student was arrested and charged after questioning.

U-S Airways says it will cut 642 jobs this fall, in addition to the 14-hundred layoffs it's already announced.
The layoffs come as the bankrupt airline tries to reduce its flight schedule by 13 percent.
The cuts will be confined to the fleet and customer service sectors.
The largest cuts will be felt in the airline's hubs in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Charlotte.

Brandon Kyle Billings was a senior at Galax High School and played tackle for the school's football team.

He was found shot in his pickup truck Sunday afternoon on Rockhouse Lane just outside of town.
Authorities say it's an area where many teenagers go to hang out, and Billings who just turned 18 Saturday, may have been there celebrating his birthday.

Heritage would come back with Staci Davis. She hits one from just outside the paint but the lead is still comfortably in Fleming's favor - 52-to-27.
