Investigators plan to leave Thursday morning for Canada to question a North Carolina man described as a possible "witness" in the murders of Jennifer Short and her parents.

Monday, during a detention hearing, Garrison Bowman told officials he was a suspect in the family's murders... but indicated it was because someone lied to authorities.
According to search warrants, his landlord told investigators Bowman had threatened to kill a Virginia man who refused to move his mobile home.
Canadian immigration officials say they'll hold a hearing later this week to decide if Bowman will be deported.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Short's relatives are making funeral arrangements.
Visitation will be held Friday at 6.
The funeral is Saturday at 1.
Both services will be held at the Martinsville Church of God.

Prison drug smuggler Michael Fulcher is scheduled to enter a guilty plea in federal court tomorrow afternoon.

Lincoln was prepared to testify on Fulcher's behalf at the trial next month.

Ground was broken today on a 5-point-4 million dollar renovation project at City Stadium.
The 62-year-old ballpark will be brought up to modern minor league standards by adding seating, skyboxes and improving the concessions and handicapped access.
