A Montgomery County circuit court judge today threw out Marye's challenge to the redistricting plan that has cost him his seat.

The judge made his decision after immigration officials argued that Bowman was a flight risk and possible danger to the public because he was wanted for questioning in the murders of three people.

U-S officials say two un- identified attackers shot and killed a U-S Marine today.
A second American was injured in the incident.
Authorities say the two attackers were killed by U-S forces.

U-S officials say the games are routine -- and are NOT part of any preparations for war with Iraq.

Brandon Kyle Billings was a senior at Galax High School and played tackle for the school's football team.

He was found shot in his pickup truck Sunday afternoon on Rockhouse Lane just outside of town.
Authorities say it's an area where many teenagers go to hang out, and Billings who just turned 18 Saturday, may have been there celebrating his birthday.

Wright's relatives says the two had recently ended what they call an "abusive" relationship, and that Wright was trying to make a go of it on her own.
