After more than four months in jail, the actor has been denied bail by a California superior court judge. Blake is charged with murder, conspiracy, solicitation to murder and the special circumstance of "lying in wait" in the killing of his wife Bonny Lee Bakley six months ago. Blake's attorney argued the prosecution's theory of premeditated murder is a crime that allows bail in the state of California. Prosecutors said the evidence in the case meets the standards that should keep Blake behind bars. The Superior Court Judge said he will reconsider bail after a preliminary hearing where witnesses will testify.

The leader of a Chicago-area Islamic charity has been indicted on federal charges of racketeering and fraud. (ee'-nam Arnot') Enaam Arnaout is accused of fraudulently getting donations through his Benevolence International Foundation that were used to support Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida network. Aranout has been in custody since April - on perjury charges - after he filed a sworn statement denying he supported terror groups. A federal judge recently dismissed those charges - but federal prosecutors immediately filed new perjury charges which are still pending.
