A Maryland man was shot to death last night at a gas station in Manassas.
He's identified as 53- year- old Dean Meyers.
Authorities investigating last night's shooting say they're looking for a white mini- van.
They're backing away from earlier reports that two men were seen in the van.
Meanwhile, a white truck or van was also seen near one of the deadly sniper shootings last week.

Investigators from Virginia and North Carolina are flying to northwest Canada today .. hoping to question Garrison Bowman.
He is being held in Yellowknife, Canada, on an immigration violation and faces deportation after a hearing tomorrow morning.
Canadian immigration officials say the fact that Bowman is being sought for questioning will have no bearing on whether he stays there or is sent home... though it's likely he'll be tried on a drunk driving charge in Canada first.
Local investigators also want to search Bowman's van, though it's not clear if they'll be able to bring any items
back to the U-S for analysis.

President Bush is expecting to get the green light on Iraq today from the U-S House.
Officials say the White House expects a "large, bipartisan" margin of votes giving the President the authority to use military action against Saddam Hussein.
The Senate is also expected to vote by the end of the week to approve the resolution authorizing the use of force, IF Saddam doesn't disarm.
Today Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle announced he supports Bush on the resolution.
As the world is cracking down on terrorists, German authorities today arrested a Moroccan man believed to have played a role in the September 11th attacks.
The 29- year- old man is suspected of having links to the al-Qaida network.
He's also accused of providing logistical help to Mohammed Atta and the other 9-11 suicide hijackers.
It's also alleged the man arrested today attended training camps
in Afghanistan in the summer of 2000.
