While the two Rockingham County investigators talked with Garry Bowman today, the two investigators sent from Henry County did not.
Sheriff Frank Cassell says his investigators do NOT plan to interview Bowman in Canada.
In fact, they plan to leave Canada tomorrow afternoon.

A body discovered two weeks ago in Greenbrier County, West Virginia has been identified as a Hispanic female between the ages of 12 and 20.

The state's medical examiner could NOT determine the cause of death, so the body has been sent to Washington to be examined by a forensic anthropologist. Officials say the description doesn't match any reports of missing persons in the area. Police around the country have been alerted of the description. The dry year is actually helping provide a good harvest at one local vineyard. At Valhalla Vineyards in Roanoke County, the grapes are smaller because of the lack of rain but they have a more intense, concentrated flavor. Owner Debra Vascik says you can taste the differences between vintages from a wet year and a dry year. But she says the drought will catch up with the grape industry if it continues. Plants develop deep roots to find ground water and the lack of rain is leaving the water table very low.

Former Virginia Cavalier Patrick Kerney has a little heavier wallet tonight. The defensive end has signed a new deal with the Falcons that will keep him in Atlanta for the next seven seasons.

It's a 40 million dollar pact for Kerney and it includes 8 and a half million dollars in signing bonus money. The deal prevents the Falcons former first round pick from becoming a free agent in March. Kerney tallied twelve sacks a year ago and has started every game since the start of the 2000 season.
