Students at Virginia Tech are hoping for a big turnout later today .. when they demonstrate against any further budget cuts to Virginia's state universities. They'll meet on the Drill Field, in the center of campus, this afternoon .. in hopes of sending a message to Richmond.
The students are worried that more cuts could affect class sizes and course offerings .. and reduce the university's ability to offer them the best education possible.
