Sources say ballistic evidence links the latest Virginia gas station shooting to the other sniper attacks.
That would make this the 8th person to be killed in the Washington area since October 2nd.
The latest victim was a 53 year old man from Philadelphia. He was shot will pumping gas in Fredricksburg.

ACCORDING TO THE WASHINGTON POST, BALLISTICS TESTS HAVE NOW LINKED FRIDAY'S MURDER AT THIS VIRGINIA GAS STATION TO NINE OTHER SNIPER ATTACKS. KENNETH BRIDGES, A 53-YEAR OLD FATHER OF SIX, WAS GUNNED DOWN WHILE PUUMPING GAS. A SINGLE SHOT TO THE SHOULDER -- IN BROAD DAYLIGHT -- AND ONLY 50 YARDS AWAY FROM A VIRGINIA STATE TROOPER.

The head of Virginia's state police says they have new leads from evidence found at the scene of yesterday's shooting.

While the two Rockingham County investigators talked with Garry Bowman yesterday, the two investigators sent from Henry County did not.
Sheriff Frank Cassell says his investigators do NOT plan to interview Bowman in Canada.
In fact, they plan to leave Canada this afternoon.
