Otis Higginbotham was headed to Oklahoma City when he broke down near exit 140 on Interstate 81.
Ordinarily that wouldn't raise suspicion, except someone noticed Higginbotham was hauling a white van inside his Ryder truck.
The Oklahoma man also sounded more alarms after police learned he purchased the van in Maryland and had maps of the D-C area in his truck.
In the end though, it all turned out to be a coincidence.

With yesterday's ruling from the Medical Examiner's Office, Roanoke County Police have ruled Helen Cadd's death a homicide. They have yet to make a link between her and Danny Ray Taylor. The homeless man from Chesapeake was found at the retirement center the night Cadd's body was found.
They've taken hair and skin samples from Taylor, but the lab work has not been complete. Authorities said earlier that Cadd had also been the victim of sexual assault.
