In the meantime, investigators are trying to figure out if a fatal shooting this morning near Aspen Hill, Maryland is the work of the sniper.
Thirty-five-year-old Conrad Johnson was killed as he stood on the steps of the public transit bus he drove.
Police say the crime has all the characteristics of the other sniper attacks.

Local schools were closed after police found a note in the woods near Saturday's shooting that indicated a possible threat to students.
Police now say the sniper's note read "Your children are not safe anywhere at any time."

He's being held as a material witness in the slayings of Jennifer Short and her parents.
Bowman was brought back from Canada to Raleigh, North Carolina, last night, where he was interviewed by investigators.
Tonight, he's in Virginia, awaiting a hearing before a federal judge and further questioning in the case.

An autopsy showed Bailey's blood alcohol level was point-12 - -50-percent above the legal driving limit. Workman's was ESTIMATED to be at least point-one-six, twice the legal limit on the highway.
