Good Afternoon, I'm Kimberly McBroom.
Another single shot--
Another victim.
And if a link to the serial sniper is confirmed, this would be victim number 13.
The 40-year-old bus driver was shot and killed this morning in Montgomery County, Maryland, as he was standing on the steps of his bus.
Today's incident happened less than a half- mile away from where the sniper attacks began earlier this month.
Federal agents and helicopter have been searching the scene.
Aleen Sirgany is in Rockville, Maryland this afternoon and joins us now with the latest developments.

The murder trial of a U-S Drug Enforcement Agent got underway in Roanoke today.

[VO-NAT]
[SUPER=03-Roanoke]

Agent Timothy Workman remains out on bond, suspended from the D-E-A withOUT pay, as the court prepares to try him for first degree murder. Workman was on temporary duty in Roanoke the night he allegedly shot and killed Keith Bailey outside a restaurant near Valley View Mall. Because Workman waived his right to a preliminary hearing, there has not been much detail reported of the incident last February.
Today will likely be taken up almost entirely with jury selection.

Leyva was released from prison this year after serving 11 years for molesting young boys.
He lived in Roanoke for almost seven months -- and stayed out of trouble -- before heading to Puerto Rico last week.
U-S probation officials say he'll be returned to Roanoke.
