An unattended stove is to blame for a nursing home fire in Blacksburg.
It happened just before seven this morning, at the Warm Hearth nursing home.
Officials say they saw smoke coming from the roof when they arrived, but, were able to put out the fire in about 20-minutes.
It was contained to the kitchen area, so residents were able to go back inside.
Two minor injuries were reported--both were treated on the scene.
Danville police say they have suspects in a bizarre weekend shooting.
It happened Sunday just before 3 A-M.
21-year-old Harold Baize Junior was found dead inside a car that had crashed into a home on Green Street.
Police say it appears that someone opened fire on the car. It was full of bullet holes, but police weren't able to determine if that's what killed him. An autopsy is being performed today.
A 28-year-old woman who was with Blaize in the car was shot in the hand.
Police say they're investigating the case as a homicide.

Gays, lesbians and their opponents gathered for two days of protests this weekend.
About a hundred members of a homosexual support group, "Soulforce," took part yesterday.

Opening arguments are scheduled to begin in Beverly Hills today in the trial of actress Winona Ryder.
[SUPER=03-Beverly Hills, CA/Last Thursday;]
Ryder faces charges of grand theft, burglary, and vandalism.
The charges stem from her arrest last December outside Saks Fifth Avenue.
Ryder is accused of shoplifting six- thousand dollars' worth of merchandise including designer hats, hand bags, and tops.
She could face as many as three years in jail, if convicted.
One final note... the jury is under orders from the judge NOT to shop
at Saks Fifth Avenue.
