Yemen's official news agency says the blast happened this morning- about 100 miles east of the Capital city.
Six men- all considered to be al Qaida suspects were killed.
It is unclear how the explosion happened.
Yemeni officials first said the car may have blown up because the men were carrying explosives- Those explosives may have been set off accidentally.
But tribesmen in the region said they saw a military helicopter hovering overhead shortly before the blast.

He is charged with three counts of obtaining money by false pretenses.

Check this out- The basket portion of the balloon exploded into flames mid- air.
Now, the crew WAS able to get out in time and only suffered minor burns and bruises.
They said they were trying to reduce the balloon's altitude when they lost control.
Four gas- burners fell to the ground, but no one was hit and the balloon ended up landing in a nearby rice field.
The crew was in the air to compete in an international balloon festival.
