The Foundation was due in court Tuesday to show cause why it could not pay Byron Dickson, the Architect. Coleman Adams Construction had already won a 1-point-six million dollar judgment against the Foundation. That was 88 days ago. Federal Bankruptcy law sets the clock back NINETY days. The petition filed today is retroactive, taking the matter back to where it stood two days BEFORE Coleman Adams won the judgment against the National D-Day Memorial Foundation. Now Coleman Adams is on equal footing with Dickson and the bank.

The wife of a Pittsylvania County man murdered last week is one of the suspects in his death.

The body of 25 year old Charles J. Lewis was found at a home on Loop Road in the Keeling community early on the morning of October 30th. His father, 51 year old Julian Clifton Lewis, Junior died a short time later. Both had been shot.

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Office arrested the elder Lewis' wife, 33-year old Teresa Michelle Lewis. Also under arrest is 22-year old Matthew Jesse Shallenberger of Danville. Both suspects are charged with first degree murder in the death of Julian Lewis, Junior. They're being held in the County jail without bond. More charges are pending.

State police and V-Dot had to block part of I-81, so that A-E-P could repair the line.
Officials report power was fully restored around three this afternoon.

A judge ordered 17-year old John Lee Malvo held without bond in the adult detention facility in Fairfax County.
Commonwealth's Attorney Robert Horan (hohr-ANN) said today Malvo's finerprints were on the rifle used in several killings in the Washington area.
He also said witnesses can place Malvo at the scenes.
Earlier in the day, John Allen Muhammad also made his initial court appearance in Virginia.
He's being tried in Prince William County, in connection with another of the sniper slayings.

Attorney General Jerry Kilgore says he's confident that Virginian prosecutors will be able to secure the death penalty against the two sniper suspects.

Kilgore says the decision to try the suspects separately was based on where the strongest evidence against each defendant was found.
He says prosecutors have covered all their bases by charging both suspects with capital murder and terrorism.
The state's top attorney expects a number of legal challenges to the new anti-terrorism law, passed this winter in response to September 11th.
But he believes the law will ultimately be upheld.
