A sheriff's department official says deputies found 73-year old Willie (HAR-ston) Harston and his wife 68-year old Clara Belle Harston dead in their Blairs home this morning.
Investigators have not yet been able to determine a cause of death.
Autopsies will be performed by the medical examiner in Roanoke.

Scientists found the diamond ring and broach between two layers of cloth.
They believe the jewels belonged to the captain- George Dixon-
They think he was carrying the jewelry in his jacket or pants pocket-
The ring is gold with nine diamonds.
The broach contains 37 diamonds- totaling about two carats.
But was the jewelry a gift .. perhaps from a woman? Scientists are trying to figure that out.
Dixon's famous gold coin was also displayed.
The bent relic reportedly saved Dixon's life when it stopped a bullet earlier in the Civil war.

UVa's Jermaine Harper has been suspended indefinitely from the men's basketball team.

Harper has been practicing with the Cavs this season, and with the graduation of Adam Hall and Chris Williams, he was projected to be a key contributor this season.
The sophomore shooting guard from Gardena, California appeared in 29 games last season averaging 6 points per game.
UVa officials would now comment on what led to the suspension, but early Tuesday, Charlottesville officials charged him with driving under the influence. Harper is 21 years old.

It may seem a little early to get into the Christmas spirit, but that is not stopping the folks at New York's Rockefeller Center.

The center's Christmas tree arrived this morning.
The tree is 76 feet tall and 43 feet wide- It was lifted into place by a large crane.
The seven ton tree originally came from a home in Bloomsbury, New Jersey.
It's owners sent a photo of the tree in their yard to the folks at Rockefeller Center in the hopes that it might be used.
The tree will be decorated and lit on December 4th.
