The Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Office is looking for a North Carolina man in connection with the murders of a Blairs couple.
Officials say they believe 27-year old James Antonio (JEN-uh- retti) Generetie of Durham is responsible for the deaths of Willie and Clara Harston earlier this week.

The single vehicle wreck involved a Chevy Blazer traveling southbound around 9:45. Officials say 32-year-old Tonya Lee Green lost control on a curve just past the weigh station and rolled the rig several times.
The accident left her personal belongings scattered along the shoulder and backed up traffic for more than an hour while crews cleaned up the scene.

Virginia's Department of Motor Vehicles is shifting gears over a controversial registration fee.

A new law that went into affect July first authorized the D-M-V to collect two dollars to go towards Virginia's 400th anniversary celebration.
The fee was already added onto your vehicle registration fee.
If you didn't want to pay it, you had to check a box and then deduct two dollars from the amount.
Many Virginians complained the measure was confusing.
So today, the D-M-V announced it will revise the form to make it easier to read and stop automatically adding the two bucks to the bill.

Mina's journey to Ferrum took nearly a year and a lot of hard work.

But, before the hearing, Lawson called police about a bomb threat he supposedly overheard.
