Virginia's economy may not be getting much worse - but that doesn't mean it's getting better either.
In fact, the economy is still too weak to gernerate enough state revenue to meet even a flatlined budget forecast for the current year.
Customers at the Department of Motor Vehicles are quickly noticing the new realities of the department.
State money is short - and the lines are long.

Lieutenant Governor Tim Kaine is introducing a bill to benefit Hunters for the Hungry.
This non-profit group provides donated venison to families in need.
Kaine's legislation would allow hunters to make a two dollar donation to the charity when purchasing their hunting licenses.
[SUPER=@file;]
Since the program was started eleven years ago, Virginia hunters have donated nearly one and half million pounds of venison.
Yet each year Hunters for the Hungry is unable to accept thousands of deer because of a shortage of funds to process the meat.
