Federal prosecutors rested their case against Richard Burrow after four days of testimony.
Yesterday, former members of the foundation's board of directors testified they were kept in the dark about the financial problems until it was too late.
Prosecutors claim Burrow got bank loans based on undocumented pledges and drove the memorial into debt.
Burrow's lawyers say their client was up front about everything and that things only got behind in the rush to complete the memorial before its June, 2001 dedication.
