Altavista high school is hosting an invitational tournament, as is Averett University in the annual Danville Register and Bee shootout. And eight schools are playing in Fort Chsiwell in the First Century Bank tournament.

The Virginia Cavaliers and the West Virginia Mountaineers have been in Charlotte, North Carolina preparing for this coming weekend's 11 AM Continental Tire Bowl since last Saturday. But before leaving, they did talk about their holiday wishes with our Steve Mason.

Santa and his helpers made an early delivery in Radford today.
But, instead of a riding in on a sleigh...these elves were in patrol cars.

Radford City Police went door to door delivering bikes and stockings to kids in need.
In all, they distributed 25-bikes, taken from the department's lost and found collection and fixed up.
This is the first year for the Santa Cops for Kids program.
Officials say they hope to make it an annual event.
