Arson investigators will be looking closely at the building, because all the utilities had been disconnected for awhile. City police believe the Evans Paint Company warehouse houses a good number of homeless people. In fact bedrolls are still laid out in rooms that were not consumed by fire last night. The blaze began in the front office... a complex of rooms that one criminal investigator says served as a homeless hotel. That one corner of the building sustained 100-thousand dollars in damage.
