The director of Lynchburg's Sheltered Workshop says he wants to work with state regulators to resolve safety concerns they have about the non-profit operation.

Inspectors cited the workshop for 21 serious and non-serious safety violations, ranging from possible exposure to asbestos to a blocked exit sign.
The inspection came after the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry received a complaint about conditions at the workshop.

Director Dave Taylor says he's still reviewing the report and has not decided how to respond.

We finish up in the pool of all places. Hidden Valley and Cave Spring battled in the water as well as on the hoop court last night. Over at the Gator Aquatic Center, the Cave Spring girls took care of Hidden Valley by a score of 100 to 70, while the Titan boys turned the tables, winning 106 to 34.
