Plows from the Virginia Department of Transportation stayed busy on Bent Mountain. Even after the storm had passed, the snow continued to swirl across route 221.

A witness says he saw two huge fireballs as a pair of military choppers went down late yesterday.
The wreckage of one chopper ended up at the entrance to an R-V park.
A man who lives there says he could tell from the fiery crash the crew did not have a chance, and he says there was no way to help them.
Other witnesses said they heard a loud boom.
The Marines were helping the U-S Border patrol in the fight against drug trafficking.

For the first time in its history, McDonalds's recorded a quarterly loss.
The Fast Food giant lost 343 MILLION dollars last quarter.

perform. And when she died, Carter was in rehearsals at the Long Beach
theater, for the musical version of Raisin in the Sun.

Demolition crews are tearing down the Family Worship Center building on the corner of Jefferson Street and Albemarle Avenue.
In the next few months, construction will proceed on an orthopedic and Ear Nose and Throat outpatient surgery clinic in place of the church.
