Two abortion bills will be considered by the House Courts of Justice Committee today. One would ban late-term -"partial-birth abortions" and the other would require minors to get parental consent before having an abortion. Currently parents of minors only have to be NOTIFIED of the abortion. Both bills were considered last year, but neither became law.
