But the clerk says she got distracted and didn't think about the incident until last week when she saw a story about Peterson on the news. Police aren't getting their hopes up.

A bankruptcy court judge has to approve the deal, but the board of R-J Reynolds -Patrick County Memorial has voted to accept an offer from Agemark Incorporated.
The hospital is in Stuar. It filed for bankruptcy protection in 1999 after years of mounting losses.
Under the purchase agreement, the new owners would maintain similar operations for at least five years. The agreement also gives the board of supervisors first refusal if the hospital goes up for sale again.

Mill Mountain Zoo is canceling its annual Groundhog Day celebration featuring Kylie. The prairie dog died of cancer last spring.
For the last four years, she predicted how much longer winter would last based on whether she saw her shadow. Zoo officials have no plans to use another animal, saying Kylie was special because she was trained to use for educational purposes. Since Groundhog Day attracts people to Mill Mountain during slow winter months, the zoo is hosting a special Valentine's Day celebration in its place.

The work will begin immediately after the running of the Virginia 500 on April 13. The track's new capacity will be 88,000.

But PH blew it open in the third quarter - Cornelius Penn hits for 2 of his 13 points on the night as he knocks in the jumper. His running mate DuJuan Johnson, who also scored 13 then drives in and hits the nice right handed runner in the paint.

High school basketball's LeBron James has had his senior season at Saint Vincent-Saint Mary's come to an end, afterall. Yesterday James was ruled ineligible by the Ohio High School Athletic Association for accepting two free retro sports jerseys from a clothing store. Together the jerseys were valued at $845 dollars. In other words his big bucks hummer is OK, but the shirts gotta go. The next step for James appears to be the NBA draft.

Abby Pyzik will then overplay the pass, use a nice reverse spin to get free and then use her left hand to get a deuce of her own. Hollins would get a lift from Hillsville native Brandi Cochran. The sophomore does a nice job of dropping in two on this drive.

Today, the Hokies got news they've been waiting for as All-American linebacker Vince Hall from Western Branch High School in Chesapeake verbally committed to Tech, choosing the Hokies over North Carolina and Tennessee.
