SOT: CAROL FLETCHER

the pain was so horrible.
SHE HAS NO PAIN NOW...THE SECRET TO THEIR SUCCESS.... IS NOT MAJOR SURGERY, OR SOME GREAT NEW PAIN PILL.... AND CERTAINLY NOT REST!

SOT: DR. BERKOWITZ

Laying in bed causes atrophy of the muscles which are already weakened because of inactivity, obesity, many people are deconditioned.
IT'S SIMPLY...... THIS......(NAT) A BACK IN PAIN.... IS A BACK IN NEED ..... OF GAIN. STRENGTHEN A BACK IN PAIN... AND THE PAIN GOES AWAY.

SOT: DR. ROBERT BERKOWITZ/ORTHOPEDIST

we've come to the conclusion that after a couple of days in bed people should start to mobilize. and as soon as the acute inflammatory process subsides, we like to get them into an exercise program.
AND DR. ROBERT BERKOWITZ.... AN ORTHOPEDIST WHO MAKES A LIVING DOING SURGERY.... SAYS.... THIS EXERCISE MACHINE.... IS THE BEST TREATMENT FOR MANY CASES OF BACK PAIN.... MOSTLY THE MUSCLE STRAINS AND SPRAINS WHICH MAKE UP THE BULK OF BACK PROBLEMS. IT'S CALLED MED-X.

SOT: JOEL WALDMAN/EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST

this machine is effective because it isolates the muscles of the lumbar spine, and cannot be achieved with any other apparatus.
IN A STUDY OF MORE THAN 600 BACK PAIN PATIENTS TREATED WITH MED-X, 3/4THS HAD GOOD OR EXCELLENT RESULTS.... THE BENEFITS LASTED AT LEAST A YEAR IN 94 PERCENT OF THESE PATIENTS.
