((Modesto police spent hours looking through the Petersons home Tuesday, after they served a search warrant on Scott Peterson. What led them back here, or what theyre looking for, detectives wont say. LT. DOUG RIDENOUR/MODESTO POLICE: Discoveries during the investigation have necessitated the revisiting of the Peterson residence. Scott left the home after police arrived with the search warrant which includes the house, backyard and his white pickup truck which was eventually taken away. RIDENHOUR: Mr. Peterson was cooperative with detectives, and took some personal and work-related items from the home. Scotts wife Laci Peterson was 8 months pregnant when she disappeared, and was due to give birth last week. A reward sign is still posted on her front lawn. Lacis family initially supported her husband but that changed when Scott admitted he was having an affair. And the tension between them escalated after Scott sold Lacis SUV and inquired about selling their home. Laci Peterson disappeared on Christmas Eve, when her husband says she went out to walk the dog.
SCOTT PETERSON/LACIS HUSBAND: I had nothing to do with Lacis disappearance. Scott says he was fishing a couple hours away, but police havent found anyone to verify that. CHRIS LAWRENCE/CBS NEWS: Police say Scott was not interrogated Wednesday. Detectives say he is not a suspect, but they have not ruled out the possibility he had something to do with his wifes disappearance. Chris Lawrence CBS News.))
