Firefighters say the club was engulfed in flames within just three minutes.
Officials say the building had passed a recent fire inspection, but did NOT have a permit for pyro-technics.
Police say charges are likely against the club's owners.
Christina Hager is at the scene in West Warwick this afternoon, and joins us now with the latest.

A man from Goodview admits he assaulted 15 cyclists last Setember on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
33-year old Gary Hamilton pled guilty to attacking the riders after they argued over who had the right to the road.
Hamilton drove up quickly in a red Mitsubishi behind the group on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
He honked his horn at the group, and drove very close to them, then threw a hat and sunglasses at one of the cyclists.
Prosecutors say that both Hamilton and the group eventually stopped at an overlook, where Hamilton told the group that he had something under his seat that would take care of all of them.
Some of the riders thought Hamilton might have a gun under the seat.
He'll be sentenced May 1st.

University of California at Davis police are looking for a monkey that escaped from a research facility at the school.
She was supposed to be part of a breeding colony.
The two- year- old female escaped the day before Valentine's Day, while a handler was cleaning her cage.
Handlers searched the building, but couldn't find her.
They say the monkey may still be on the 300- acre grounds of the primate center, because alarms on the fence haven't been triggered.
Others, meanwhile, believe it's possible the monkey escaped through the sewer system.
