The military actually uses a navigational tool it designed several years ago, called the global positioning system or G-P-S. G-P-S is a satellite system that uses coordinates to pinpoint an exact location anywhere in the world.

The World Health Organization has reported more than 3-hundred cases of SARS so far from 14 countries. Ten people have died from the illness internationally.

A sixteen- year- old girl is dead and another man hospitalized this morning after an accident in Rockbridge County last night. The man was driving a Dodge pickup heading west on Route 130 when he tried to pass a vehicle in a no-passing zone. As he went into the eastbound lane to pass, he struck Ashley Elizabeth Hennings of Natural Bridge Station head on. Hennings died at the scene. The man's name has not been released and no charges have been filed at this time.
