U-S officials are warning of some tough resistance ahead and that's exactly what troops are seeing in parts of Iraq.

Camp Lejeune has been hit hard by fighting in Iraq. Thirteen of the Americans killed are from Camp Lejeune and six others from the base are missing.
The President was also scheduled to meet with the families of those who were killed.

The accident is in the northbound lanes of the highway at the Orange Avenue interchange.
The truck is blocking two lanes.
State police say it appears the driver was going too fast as he was merging onto 581 and his load shifted.
Traffic is able to get around it, but it is beginning to back up.
Authorities say motorists should expect significant delays for several hours.

Authorities have confirmed the body found yesterday in the New River is that of a Roanoke man who's been missing since early last month.
A medical examiner identified the body as 50-year-old John Wagner.
Wagner and his friend 36-year-old Ty Hodges disappeared after the boat they were fishing in capsized.
Authorities found Wagner's body last night near the Celanese Plant in Giles County, the same general area where a railway engineer discovered Hodges' body last week.

Nobody was injured in the fire, but one firefighter was treated for exhaustion.
Five rooms were damaged by smoke. The estimated cost of the damage is 50 thousand dollars.
The motel has closed all of the units on the side of the building where the fire happened to make sure no customers end up with a smoky room.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Philip Morris officials say paying the bond could prevent the company from making a scheduled payment of 52 million dollars to Virginia.
