The body was found in the New River near the Celanese Plant in Giles County.

Authorities are waiting to see if it may be the body of 50- year old John Wagner of Roanoke.
Wagner and his friend 36- year old Ty Hodges disappeared after their boat capsized early last month while fishing.

Officers says while they are doing everything they can to protect the students, they can't do it alone.
