The city of Baghdad has fallen, but there's still a lot more that needs to be done before victory can be declared in Iraq.
Allied forces are still searching out enemy fighters, and mostly, Saddam Hussein himself.
Skirmishes continue to flare up around the Iraqi capital.
One Marine was killed, and more than a dozen others have been wounded in a gun battle north of the city.
And residents of Baghdad are taking to the streets again today, celebrating-- and looting.
Drew Levinson joins us now from Kuwait City with the latest.

Brigadier General Daniel Darnell spoke with Jean Jadhon by phone from his base in Southwest Asia.

General Darnell is responsible for 34 squadron's making up the most diverse flying wing in the Air Force.
That wing includes more than 110 aircraft including B-1's B-52's, F-15's and F-16's among others.

Today when Saddam Hussein's statue was toppled in the Iraqi streets- General Darnell was watching the footage on TV.

Bramblett chose the electric chair rather than lethal injection as a protest over his conviction.

Rupert Murdoch is buying Direct T-V -- the nation's largest satellite television provider.
The board of General Motors has approved a bid by the media titan's News Corporation to acquire control of Hughes Electronics and its Direct T-V service in a deal worth six-point-six (b) billion dollars.
The proposed deal would give News Corporation access to Direct T-V's more than eleven (m) million subscribers and end a three-year effort by Murdoch to gain a U-S outlet for his satellite services.
In other business news - March sales reports put retail stocks on center stage today.

Military officials say an F-15E Strike Eagle went down in Iraq on Sunday but they will not confirm that it was his aircraft. Watkins was based at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina.
