A brush fire on Poor Mountain in Montgomery County is about 20 percent contained.
So far, it has claimed between 30 and 50 acres.
Foresters are fighting it with a helicopter that drops 100-gallon buckets of water.
They say they're not fighting it on the ground because no homes are threatened and the terrain is too steep and rocky to put in firelines by hand.
The forestry department is watching weather conditions to decide how to proceed tomorrow.
